Support and Service
Because our products are developed in-house by our parent company, we are readily able to provide responsive and knowledgeable support and service.
Every product purchased includes a 1-year warranty, covering repairs and replacements. After this warranty period, we continue to offer service at a discounted rate to our customers. We provide ongoing support for smaller issues that can be resolved remotely, while more complex repairs will require customers to send in products for service.

Salman Rana: Managing Director and Co-Founder
Salman is Managing Director and Co-Founder of the company, bringing over 36 years of experience in enterprise management systems, business process automation, and software development. He holds an MBA, along with bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and in Mathematics and Physics, and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science.
Throughout his career, Salman has taken on diverse roles including developer, systems analyst, and professional services consultant, supporting organizations across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. His broad international exposure has shaped a pragmatic and adaptable approach to solving complex business and technology challenges.
As an early contributor to a leading global workflow automation platform, Salman worked across the full product lifecycle, including development, testing, implementation, training, and customer engagement. He brings deep expertise in process design and strategic management, with a focus on aligning technology solutions to real business needs.
Known for his attention to detail and collaborative working style, Salman is instrumental in guiding teams and clients toward effective, scalable, and sustainable outcomes.
Michelle Rana: Manufacturing & Engineering Manager
Michelle has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University, specializing in electronics, photonics, and MEMS. With a strong foundation in both hardware and software, she has experience in VLSI design, embedded systems, and data-driven applications, with a particular interest in sensor technologies and signal processing.
Prior to joining Deura Controls, she was in the pharmaceutical industry contributing to system optimizations by enhancing automation systems and implemented robust error-handling mechanisms to improve reliability and consistency. Her experience includes designing and optimizing complex systems, working with electronic design tools, and developing efficient, scalable code.
In addition to her responsibilities as manufacturing and engineering manager, Michelle applies her engineering mindset to coordinate operations, communicate effectively with clients and manufacturers, and manage administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.
Hassan Rana: International Operations Manager and Co-Founder
Hassan is Co-Founder and Head of International Operations, bringing a global perspective shaped by decades of experience across industry and academia. He holds a PhD in Industrial Operations, a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
Over the course of his career, Hassan has held senior leadership roles in complex, highly regulated environments, with a strong focus on operational strategy, program execution, and cross-border collaboration. His work has spanned multiple regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe, where he has led multidisciplinary teams and overseen large-scale initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Hassan contributed to advanced engineering programs involving control systems for military aircraft, developing deep expertise in precision systems and mission-critical operations. He has also been actively involved in academia, combining technical insight with strategic leadership.
At the company, Hassan oversees international operations, guiding global partnerships, market expansion, and organizational alignment to support sustainable growth.
Sarosh Rehmann: Mechanical Engineer
Sarosh is a Mechanical Engineer leading mechanical engineering and mechatronics development within the company. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
With over a decade of experience in safety-critical systems, Sarosh has contributed to complex engineering programs across aerospace and naval domains in the United States and the United Kingdom. His work spans the development of embedded firmware in C for both commercial and custom microcontroller platforms, as well as system-level integration, data acquisition, and control optimization.
Sarosh brings a multidisciplinary approach to engineering, enabling effective collaboration across hardware, software, and systems teams. He is skilled in translating stakeholder and customer requirements into practical, reliable solutions, and is known for leveraging data-driven analysis to address challenges and support real-time decision-making.
Ahmad Rana: Advisor and Co-Founder
Ahmad holds a Ph.D. in Robotics, an M.S. in Nuclear Instrumentation and Control, and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, with more than 35 years of industry experience in embedded systems and high-tech product development. His expertise spans control systems, real-time embedded firmware, system architecture, and analog and digital hardware design.
Throughout his career, he has worked across industries including semiconductor, industrial automation, telecommunications, aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas, and manufacturing. He has contributed to the full product lifecycle, from architecture and algorithm design through implementation, testing, and lifecycle support, with a focus on performance, reliability, and system robustness.
As Co-Founder and Advisor at Deura Controls, Ahmad provides technical leadership and strategic guidance, helping shape complex engineering solutions and ensuring strong alignment between system design, implementation, and real-world operational needs.
