Sami Rana is Firmware Engineer and Co-Founder of Deura Controls Inc. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), one of the United States’ most respected technical universities. His expertise spans embedded Linux, FPGA design, and real-time processing systems, with professional experience in the semiconductor industry.

Sami is the technical architect behind Deura's firmware stack, responsible for the embedded software that powers the company’s microcontroller-based processing units, sensor interfaces, and communication protocols.

His dual engineering background — combining hardware-focused electrical engineering with systems-level computer engineering — enables him to design robust, reliable, and field-deployable embedded systems. He plays a foundational role in defining the technical roadmap and ensuring that Deura’s products meet the highest standards of performance and integration.
